Everyone remember the game Pokemon Go back when it thrived in 2016? I’m sure most people don’t know that it is still alive!
The only reason I know that it’s still working is because I still play it. Even in quarantine. Last week I hit a breaking point and I walked out of the house, onto the local highway to the nearest Pokestop. Many cars passed by and it felt so nice to be outside and only hear the roar of wind and engines instead of my family arguing over something stupid. I took my time getting there, taking the longest way I could, going through another neighborhood, going around the shortcuts, going over the newly built bridge.
When I finally got there, I took my sweet time. There was no one around so I cherished the solitude. Collecting Pokemon, spinning the stops, putting my Pokemon in the gym while my cheeks and hands froze.
I was outside at a graveyard where the Pokestops were for two hours before I decided to walk home. It was such a glorious day that curbed my cabin fever and my unused muscles were sore the next day. I will definitely do it again before the month ends.
